The Resonance Amplifier is a deployable relay enhancement device that supercharges the support frequencies of the Terran relay network. Mounted on a unit's chassis, it broadcasts an amplified signal that tightens coordination between nearby Terran forces while channeling excess energy into the wielder's offensive systems.

The Resonance Amplifier was developed at the Terran Advanced Communications Lab as a dual-purpose field upgrade — a device that simultaneously enhances local network support quality and provides the wielder with augmented offensive capability. The device consists of a primary amplification coil wrapped around a miniaturized relay transmitter, all housed in a ruggedized duranium casing designed for combat attachment.
When activated, the Amplifier captures ambient relay traffic and feeds it through the amplification coil, which boosts the signal strength by approximately 340 percent before rebroadcasting it. This amplified signal improves the support data quality available to every Terran unit within range — sharper sensor feeds, faster threat assessments, and more precise coordination telemetry. The improvement is subtle but measurable: field tests showed a 12 percent increase in formation cohesion and a 9 percent reduction in friendly-fire incidents in amplifier-supported engagements.
The offensive component is a secondary benefit of the amplification process.
